Becoming A Big is easy. Just take the following steps! Apply: Call or email us ! We will get you an application and schedule a time that works for you to meet with an Enrollment Specialist for an initial orientation and interview. Click here to download application forms Orientation: This is a chance for us to share information with you about our programs, the youth we serve and learn more about your volunteer preferences. Interview: This is a chance for us to get to know you better and help us determine the best child for you! We ask about vital statistics, your volunteer experience, your employer or school, and basic job application information. We take your fingerprints and get your driver's license for a DMV check. We also ask you to give us the contact information of three personal references. Matching: After you have been accepted into our program, one of our Match Advisors will, based on personalities, interests and the type of activities you enjoy, find a waiting Little Brother/Sister that's just right for you. You will then receive information about the child and make sure it is the right fit! Meeting Your "Little!": The moment for which everyone has been waiting! You and you Little will meet at a Match Introduction Meeting conducted by your Match Support Specialist. Now the magic begins! After the Match!: Your Match Support Specialist will keep in touch with you to make sure everything is going great. During the first year, you will talk to your Match Support Specialist on a monthly basis just to make sure that you and your little are having a magical time! You will also be welcomed into one of the most fun groups in town -- the Big Brothers Big Sisters family.
