Over 1,400 mentoring relationships have been formed in Lake Havasu City since 1999. It is thanks to the generosity of individuals like you that Big Brothers Big Sisters is able to open doors and expand horizons for these children.
Our operating income is primarily from private donations and special event fundraising. We depend on you -- the individuals, corporations and foundations in our communities to invest in our children. And we make it easy, by providing a variety of ways that you can donate - and bring magic into the lives of children in Mohave County!

Interagency Council’s Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mohave County is a steward of donor dollars. The cost to make a match between and adult/teen mentor and a child and support match through the duration of the lifelong friendship is $590, which is below the national average of $1,000 per match. Your donation is 100% tax deductible and directly ensures the safety of all youth participating in Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs. Mentoring is the missing link to successful lives for youth challenged with adversity.

Donations of all sizes help contribute to a brighter future for our youth. Begin with a small donation and learn more about our impact. A donation as small as $25 will help pay for a volunteer background check to ensure child safety. That’s a start in making a lasting friendship between an adult/teen and a child.

Community Partner
Be a partner of Interagency Council’s Big Brothers Big Sisters and be a part of something big. As a partner, your business/organization will reach over 1,000 people in the annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake event during the 3 month campaign. Share your support of Big Brothers Big Sisters by displaying a Big Brothers Big Sisters sticker in your business/organization window.

Match Makers
Invest your dollars by becoming match maker. As a match maker, you will be a vital part of the developing a positive friendship between a mentor and a child and changing the life of a child in Lake Havasu City. Along with a special certificate and recognition at Big Brothers Annual Dinner & Auction, you will receive periodic updates on our matches - so you can participate in the magic all year long! Donations can be split over the course of a calendar year.

Vision Makers
Contribute to quality mentoring relationships and invest in the development of positive friendships shaping the future of the Lake Havasu City community. As a vision maker, your business/organization will support lifelong friendships between and adult and child in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Community Based Program. Your business/organization will be included in media advertisements for Big Brothers Big Sisters as well as listed on all print materials and the website as a local donor. Donations can be split over the course of a calendar year.

In-Kind Donations
At Big Brothers Big Sisters, we are always looking for in-kind as well as monetary donations. Examples of in-kind donations could range from office equipment, facility rental for events, tickets for our matches, items for event auctions, food or beverage for our events…the possibilities are endless!
